What is the difference between the core partnership and the broader award partnership?

The core partnership is an established researcher-community partnership consisting of one research organization and one community organization with a previous or existing working relationship. 

For the broader award partnership, applicants are required to partner with other organizations that represent the appropriate range of expertise and knowledge of the population of interest needed to carry out the award successfully.
