Do members of stakeholder groups or communities need to be involved in the project?

Yes. PCORI expects stakeholder groups or communities to be involved throughout project. The PCORI Engagement Award Program builds capacity so that patients and stakeholders can engage in the patient-centered outcomes research/comparative clinical effectiveness research (PCOR/CER) process later.
