The LOI for the proposed project should contain all information in the LOI template, including:
- Title of proposed implementation project
- The original PCORI research award number, PFA under which the original research award was funded, project title, and the name of the original PI.
- Anticipated date results will be ready
- Description of the research results
- Description of how the findings fit into and contribute to the existing body of evidence, and how the findings significantly improve on currently available information
- Objective
For Standard Implementation Projects:
- Description of how the implementation project is an appropriate next step toward integrating and using evidence from the PCORI-funded study in real-world settings, including what the project will accomplish
- Description of the implementation strategy and approach
- Description of the implementation settings and participants
- Description of the evaluation plan, including measurable indicators of success
- Description of the engagement plan
For Phased Implementation Projects
- Rational for proposing a Phased Implementation Project versus a Standard Implementation Project
- Description of the overall implementation strategy and phased approach
- Description of the implementation settings and participants
- Description of the evaluation plan, including measurable indicators of success
- Description of the engagement plan
For Dissemination Projects
- Description of the overall dissemination strategy and approach
