No, not necessarily. The number of research questions addressed in and of itself has no material merit. The applications with multiple research questions included as study aims will be assessed based on how the proposed approaches and study design adequately integrated and aligned with the considerations in answering those research questions. Although how well the research proposal addresses one or more of the priority research questions will be an important factor, it will be balanced against other considerations, such as technical merit, patient-centeredness, and strength of support from stakeholder groups.
