PCORI Help Center

Are complementary therapies considered acceptable for this PFA?

Yes. Applicants may propose complementary therapies under this PFA. PCORI considers any non-mainstream practice used together with conventional medicine as a complementary therapy [1]. Should an applicant propose a complementary therapy, they must clearly demonstrate sufficient evidence of efficacy or documented widespread use.
