- The Engagement Award program offers the Engagement Award: Capacity Building award for organizations and community groups to continue to build capacity/skills for patient-centered outcomes research and clinical comparative effectiveness research (PCOR/CER) as well as evaluate implementation and effectiveness within different settings and stakeholder groups. This award is also for organizations to build the infrastructure for future dissemination and implementation of PCORI-funded research findings. This funding allows organizations to prepare for when relevant comparative effectiveness research results of interest, identified from within PCORI’s portfolio of ongoing research projects, become available.
- Additionally, the Engagement Award program offers the Engagement Award: Stakeholder Convening Support award for patient and community groups and organizations to hold multi-stakeholder convenings, meetings, and conferences that include patients, caregivers, researchers, clinicians, purchasers, payers, health system leaders, and other stakeholders. These convenings will have a focus on, and commitment to, supporting collaboration around PCOR and CER.
