How does the Technical Abstract differ from the Public Abstract?

Both abstracts should be descriptive of the study being proposed. The Technical Abstract should be written for a scientific audience and can include more technical language. The Public Abstract, however, is meant to be published on the PCORI website when awards are announced. This information regarding proposals are intended for the general public and it should describe the study in layman’s terms.
