"Appropriate” and "relevant" data are those that fit the perspective of the analysis. For example, e.g., analysis focused on a patient perspective will not include most hospital costs; likewise, analysis focused on a hospital perspective will not include patients' time off work. Awardees are encouraged to describe both their intended analyses and the data collection, explaining why both are appropriate.
