Outcomes for costs and other economic burdens should beneficially impact patients and include other stakeholders who may be impacted by those costs or benefit from the data, e.g., copay costs are meaningful to patients and caregivers; fully insured care costs, however, are not directly meaningful to patients. Therefore, consideration of such costs would be valuable only if the relevant stakeholders–payers and purchasers—were a part of the original study and analysis.
